A note from LoveLetterist:

Sometimes...

the person it's hardest to be honest with

is myself.

We have this tendency to want to appear all put-together and perfect for the world.

What happens when let our guards down?

Can we trust that everything will turn out right?

Is the world built on that?

There's only one way to find out.

Try it.

😁 I thought the deer was playing kick the cone?! You’ve used this page from Poise to create delightful art. Thanks for including Norman Lear’s advice for trusting - with hearts open and practicing lovingkindness- in order to not miss out on all of life. Wisdom.

I was so touched by Lear’s 3 wisdoms shared in the letter linked below his quote:

Happiness is an inside job.

Trust is worth any knocks that come with it.

We are only in competition with ourselves.

Mmmm… My writerly self likes what you did there with “pay” attention. 🤭

There are many benefits to paying attention is what I have found!

A friend recently recommended I watch Miss Potter. I did and am grateful to be aware of her story!

OTOH… There are lots of links and book suggestions I can’t/don’t make time for. There is so much to see, hear, and learn!
