A note from LoveLetterist:

A while back I watched a video in which the speaker pointed out that, "Writing and drawing move thoughts from the intangible into a direction of action."

(Apologies... I have no idea of the source.)

The notebook page Calliope references is not dated.

I recognize it as several or more years old.

A group of friends and I wrote out (and shared) a paragraph envisioning our next 5-10 years.

We also made note of our top 5 core values.

My vision centered on the type of person I wanted to become.

My paragraph centered on my character, not external rewards.

I

have

to

say...

life is serving up experiences

for me to grow

into that person.

How cool is that?

"Character is power." ~Booker T. Washington

I love this Gail! Isn't great when we look back and see the progress, the lessons, the growth. So fun!

You got me thinking... I will decorate my notebook.

My friend Ilene sparked the idea of decorating my notebook cover. She also does the inside pages — one of her creative outlets! 😁

Looking back and seeing the progress is quite satisfying. ❤️

An elucidating Universe! Sometimes we must still ourselves. Long ago I observed, “God doesn’t shout. We have to pay attention and listen carefully.”

Your “seeing” with the power of a five year old EV with a new and upgraded battery! 👏🏼👏🏼

Sounds so simple when you explain it like that! 🤭

I recalll reading a book about meditation. The method presented advised… if a thought comes to mind… start over at zero?! Needless to say I was not a great student of that philosophy.

I much prefer an observe, then dissect approach.

All kinds of kinds!
