The Universe is friendly. Both kind and honest. This morning it’s reminding me that my iPhone is old as dirt. Just because it can still receive updates doesn’t mean it can successfully employ them... So said because it refused to find the Black Capped Chickadee: 404/Page not found. 😔
That said you’ve painted the essence of one. Seen at your feeder? Out on your flaky (snow) morning tromp? My memories of them alight on snow covered hemlock tree branches remain vivid!
As I’ve already consumed my steel-cut oat brekkie, I’ll pretend I didn’t read Cal’s grand idea. Oh crud, let’s be honest. I did read Cal’s idea and I’m salivating.

I’ve heard that chickadees are bold and trusting… if you sit still long enough with seeds in your hand they’ll come to you. I’ve tried… without sufficient patience to build rapport. 🤷♀️
Bacon and waffles before the kid heads back to school. Just pulled out the last sheet of cookies that’ll be sent with him. Chocolate chip and coconut oatmeal cherry. 🍒
