I never thought of color the way the muses explained them. I just know that I have always loved color. That color is fun and eventful. But I too am an artist who paints on occasion. What a fun post Gail, thank you for making my day brighter.

Pandemic sign: “E-LEARNING IN PROGRESS! Please don’t knock or ring doorbell unless you have wine or teach math.” 😁

Love the rooster! (Has nothing to do with me being born in the Year of the Rooster.)

I believe my red/green color deficiency has subdued my overall appreciation of colors?!

This “Color of the Year” post brings to mind what The Oxford Dictionary’s “online poll” chose for “word of the year”. “Goblin mode”. Odd, right? The slang meaning is “unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy behavior.” 😮

It took me a while to get up from the floor...

The author of paintist’s rooster quote, Eden Phillpotts, was born in India in 1862. Was educated in the UK and worked in insurance for 10 years. Then returned to study theater and finally settled on being a writer. Passed in 1960. The quote asserts (I paraphrase) that if our wits grow sharper we’ll see the magical things of the Universe. (Op cit., impaired color vision) 🙃

See “goblin mode.”

As always, reader is grateful to paintist/writist/typist, and The Muse Squad, for the brain exercise this morning. I’d be exaggerating and immodest to claim I enhanced my wit. 🤔
