Nice nudge quote to go with the gentle elbow. Today's nudge will be to try out a self-reinforcing nudge. Now, it's time for some coffee and to figure what on earth a self-reinforcing nudge is.
What delightful cards, er, nudges! Despite the nudge from this post and my own desire to respond, life happened. 🤷🏽 No, nothing untoward.
The salted caraway rye bread would surely nudge me! A now long boarded up restaurant here used to make a sandwich, choices for bread, using almond butter, alfalfa sprouts, and avocado slices. Rye was one such choice. Most tasty!
Speaking of, did any butter or jams or honey tag along with the breads? Cream cheese? And I’m curious if any of your caregivers mentioned your earlier kit to solicit their input?
I used the link from your post to see more about The Pedalers and was stunned by the sisters’ energy! Is it palpable when you walk into the shop? Can they both work in the shop at the same time without spontaneous combustion sending the place up in smoke?! (I occasionally become hyperbolic...) 🤭
I was honored to be asked to write the copy for their website!
Amazing women! Amazing collaborative efforts with the community. Inspiring.
Skylar is the baker while Sam takes care of “business” — I don’t think they are often in the building at the same time. 😁
It has been a true family effort to bring the bakery to fruition. Their father and Sam’s husband renovated the building. Their mom mans the register every day they are open.
They have been able to hire a baker and a barista!
“A woman’s place is in the kitchen!” Sometimes the kitchen of the business they own and operate. 🙂
Growing up, the former was the rule, not the exception. The local mass employment sources were: a glass container factory; a mobile home factory; and a mattress factory. Men’s work. Oddly, my mother worked as the time keeper for the glass factory throughout WW II.

Yes- exactly!
LOVE the “Cured... but not forgotten” cards! Yes, excellent gentle nudge. 💚
Thanks Jack! Let us see if the nudge shakes anything loose! 🤞🏻
I do too, Jack. Maybe you should be nudging Hallmark, Gail.
:)
I have so many images I’ve created for 3mm! I love finding opportunities to share them.

Thanks DW!
Self-reinforcing nudge… 🤔… healthy habit?
I just dropped off the delicious smelling bread. (It was pure torture driving with and not eating it!) Cal’s heart hardly raced at all. 👍🏻

Now, back to netting butterflies! 🙃
I included some spreadable "butter", plastic knives, and business cards from the bakery. :)

A joy to watch!
