I once asked a friend, “Do you ever wonder if the wealthy and “privileged” are worse off than those who have little?” I suspect having and being “big” might be an impediment to a spiritual life… with all that “heaviness” to carry and uphold.

I once asked a friend, “Do you ever wonder if the wealthy and “privileged” are worse off than those who have little?” I suspect having and being “big” might be an impediment to a spiritual life… with all that “heaviness” to carry and uphold.
My friend Manu wrote a blog about the need to trim trees and plants so that they can grow healthy and strong. Does that work for people too? Similar to annealing metal?
Sadly for me my recent brain fog persists. I once shared that if I don’t know the facts, I make some up! Manu’s comment brings to mind pruning branches from the center of fruit trees. This allows sun and pollinators better access to the surrounding ones. And more fruit! I didn’t make that up...
I’ve noticed such trimming in the orchards I drive past!
