As always Gail, you manage to find quotes that arrive at just the right moment. In this case Whitman is front and center as "Trees, Roots and Leaves" are central to the Jewish Festival of T'Bshvat" that arrives this evening. In addition to that my question of the day is about where am I consistent and where am I not? Why or Why not? Which leads to "are there no contradictions?" "Absence of contradictions". Ah! Can Whitman be both right and wrong?

Wow I haven't been to Lake Geneva in years. It's cool that they do snow and ice sculptures there.

Coaster: “Someone said ’30 years ago’, and my mind went ‘Ah yes! The 1970’s’, but they meant 1993, and now I need a moment.” 😁

You have people in the background out on the ice, so it can't be THAT warm. Here, if you find ice, it will be surrounded by a glass and submerged in (probably) colored liquid.

Attempt #2... I had nearly finished some thoughts and reflections on today’s post, but I checked to make sure I was using the proper nuance of meaning for “pragmatic.”

Yup! Once back to finish my remarks I found NOTHING. Can a spontaneous remark be re-written? Seems like an oxymoron. Like reheated beef tenderloin? (No, my remarks are far from tenderloin quality. Chosen to illustrate what doesn’t reheat successfully.)

I did find that I could be in Lake Geneva in a little over five hours. Maybe next year. I did see using the planner for logging sensory and experiential events, by year and date, as a valid use.

And I thoroughly enjoyed the ice sculptures.

Hmmm? That was short and sweet! I should make a practice of writing, then expunging, my first attempt. Followed by a Cliff Notes rewrite. 😬
