I’m not knocking this strategy, but I think instead,
I will visualize a lonely surgical clip where the vanquished invader once lived… A space, replaced with love, kindness, compassion, and the good will of your treatment team and love letter followers! #cancerGIFT 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼
Today at the MRI I enjoyed such an uplifting connection with my tech. I told her before my first MRI in February, I decided I was going to face this life experience with love over fear. She said that even though she understands a C diagnosis is naturally fear inducing, she wishes more patients could see that caregivers are in their corner… doing the best for them that they can. Love over fear?
May your MRI reveal an emptiness where the invader once lived--not sure if they ever give you a photocopy of these MRI images but if yes, that fruitful empty space might be a terrific spot for your 3 muses!! Holding you in warmth and prayer and delight, Gail.
There will be surgery no matter what the MRI shows. Results will help us decide how much flesh has to go. 😂
It was pouring when I left the cancer center today. A fellow baldy was exiting at the same time as me. I had an umbrella. She didn’t. We share the protection and swapped diagnosis treatment stories. #cancergift
A vanquished invader? Wishing for nothing less! “Cactus of my eye?” I’m seeing a saguaro with a couple holes occupied by small, desert elf owls! Road Trip!!
Wings? Like “Buffalo wings?” The elf owls would be a delight for the eyes, perhaps more so than the cactus itself. I’ve read they are about the size of a sparrow! I’m with Cal!
Personally, I’m beyond finger-crossing… 🤞🏼

Road trip to follow… Stay tuned! 😉😎😊
I love your visualization!

Ooooh!! What a beautiful picture you just painted for me! 🤗
Thank you Mary Ellen!
T-shirt: “I HAD MY PATIENCE TESTED TODAY (I’m negative, by the way)” 😁
Not *quite* the same test as yours, but I hope with the same result. 💚
💚💜♥️

Haha! Thalia would love wings, Nia to be able to 180 her head in both direction. (Owls can do that, right?)
And Cal… we’ll she’d enjoy the whole owl experience.

Always “yes!” to food… and flying would be pretty cool too.
Fingers and toes crossed for your big trip today, Gail!!
Thanks Karen. MRI was easy-peasy. Will learn what the imaging show at surgeon visit on Monday.
Praying that the C is gone. Much love to you.
Thank you Pennie! I look forward to seeing my surgeon on Monday. 👍🏻
Ok, I'll be crossing every body part I can that day. I'll be traveling, but I'll be thinking of you!
