"Serendipitous events"-- Woah. How, um, serendipitous. On Saturday, I picked up Byron Katie's book from the library--had just heard about it. I probably won't open it for a while, but I will look for the magic inside!
Look forward to hearing what you think of Katie’s 4 simple questions. I started reading loving What Is right before C showed up and I’d say the timing was perfect!
T-shirt: “Bad case of kleptomania? You should take something for it!” 😁
I haven’t done anything with t-shirts since a well-intentioned but less-than-successful computer-printed iron-on in the 1980s, but based on what I see in public, I am guessing that to design, upload, and order items must be fairly easy these days.
Inspired by the two shirts I’ve ordered from Jay Armstrong in support of Write On Fight On. It seems you can settle it up kind of like “print on demand” with shipping directly to purchasers. Urania’s got some research to do. First we draw!
I believe Thomas Edison commented, “Invention is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.” Global warming may have us all perspiring but not sure of the inspiration? 🤔
I, too, would love to see the Muses on a teeshirt! The tree part? Muses monkeying around in the tree? 🙃
As one who searches on cue like Pavlov’s dog, I just searched “synchronicity,” a cousin of serendipity. “GOOF” offers this: “incidents of spiritual significance that ask us to momentarily dampen our self-obsession and consider the possibility of the divine.” Oxford’s definition of serendipity places emphasis on events happening by chance in a beneficial way, but with no reference to spiritual implications.
Dampening self-obsession, above, is to me a worthy aim. Success rate?? Hmmm, let’s go back to serendipity!
So I await interim stages of the tree’s taking shape. Perhaps even a cat or two in its branches? Penny, too, of course!🙃 Beatles: “I have to admit it’s getting better. It’s getting better all the time.”
Penny? Pennie from our 3mm community? Or another kind of Penny?
The muses and I have bern tossing around the idea of self-obsession/narcissism . We think it is different from self-awareness which we find to be key to our spiritual explorations. 🤔
And the perspiration part can be quite a joy if you’re following your energy!
Mea culpa. Henny, not Penny. You mistakenly put me in the “no typo guy/no proofing guy” category! My apologies to the real Pennie and you. I think Henny may not mind...
This is so exciting! Anticipation! Exhilarating! Serendipity! Muses in a TREE? Or around a tree. Or swinging on branches made into swings? Yes, I am excited!
Byron Katie ❤️I saw her in Sag Harbor at a private school, years ago when The Work came out I believe.

Looking forward to the results!
My mom used iron-on patches to mend my clothes. 😂

You’ve seen my cat drawings? 😂

I love full-sized sheets of drawing ✍🏼 paper!
And serendipity… We should talk! 😉
Can’t wait to see what emerges… I’m thinking of some of the images I’ve already seen and my imagination is working overtime!
