Well, it is 80 and sunny here , and yet, inside, I guess I am experiencing the cloudy feels. Thanks for the songs. They lifted my spirits. Here comes the sun...

I was reminded of yesterday’s listening circle when I paused this morning’s writing of 3mm to attend a Zoom call. I’d forgotten to close YouTube and The Beatles were in our meet-up. It took me minutes to find and close the YT window.

There was a time when that would have had me flustered and embarrassed. Today I simply laughed.

I’ve oft sad that I wouldn’t want to live in a climate that was always sunny and 75… I like the changes and shifts in weather. Perhaps the same goes for moods and emotions?

Often… the mystery helps me and the muses! :)

With the possible exception of creaking like a door in a dramatic production, I’m delighted you and the Muses found the energy and spirit that put songs in your hearts!

One can never have too much good music. Good Day Sunshine!

Just home from the marsh. Henrietta loves it there. One day soon I hope to let her run free… with some sense of trust that she’ll come back to me. 😊 She’s almost three and has the spirit of a 6 month old!

That sounds like it would be wonderful for both of you! Hmmm? Henrietta might take exception to your running away! Imagine a song with these lyrics:

Born free, as free as the wind blows

As free as the grass grows

Born free to follow your heart.

Live free and beauty surrounds you

The world still astounds you

Each time you look at a star.

Andy Williams sang that in 1968, and the same words today easily conjur for me the energy, spirit, and enthusiasm you carry with you and put on these pages. So I'll easily envison you, ear buds in place and phone aboard, skipping along with Henny as you tromp the swamp!

I/Thou, CURE! Woof!

BUTTON: “HIT ANY KEY TO CONTINUE, OR ANY OTHER KEY TO QUIT” 😁

I taught “Intro to Microcomputers” in 1985, to people in our headquarters group who had never been near ANY kind of computer. I was still learning how to teach.

Walking then through the basics, I told them, “Type in the command you see on the board, then hit Enter.” One student — who I thought of as a little old lady, but since I was 28 she was probably much younger than I am now — looked and looked at her keyboard, then raised her hand and announced, “I can’t find it.”

Sorry, I said, on some keyboards that’s labeled “Return.” Same thing, just press the Return key. Later, walking them through something, I told them to press Escape. Hand goes up — “I can’t find it!”

Sorry, sorry, the key is labeled “ESC” in the upper left, that’s the Escape key. Going on, we get through another step, and I tell them to wait until the screen pauses, then press any key to continue. Lady’s head is studying the keyboard... studying...

“Ma’am? Just press any key.” She looks at me with frustrated tears in her eyes and says, “I CAN’T FIND IT!”

After that I told people to press the space bar.

I am looking forward to reading a story about the day this 👆🏼happens… 😎

I think the mystery should be looked at with gladness and joy. But as Bobby is saying as of late with wonder as well.

I am writing this as I sit in my car in the parking lot of the school. It’s a foggy mist all around. I can hear the birds but do not really see them. I imagine them flying from branch to branch playing hide and go seek with each other, welcoming in another day.

Praying for not only Cure! But meaty blood this morning for you.

Xoxo

My mother-in-law gave me a cut out from the newspaper years ago. It was a cartoon with a quote from Pope Francis.

“Rather than a problem to be solved, the world is a joyful mystery to be contemplated with gladness and praise.”

This little, yellowed clipping has left a monstrous impact on how I perceive life. I mentioned it to my mother-in-law last week and she has no recollection of giving it to me.

Just goes to show we often have no idea of the ripples we are sending into the world! ♥️
