To Nia: Maybe O’Keefe’s will not be replaced with Boenning’s anytime soon, but she's on her way, don't you think?

*yes*... but we're afraid to say so out loud. 😂

It's ok to just think it for now.

Bursting forth into a new day! Is there any other way at Museville, BOENNING, and Henny?? (Siri was convinced “Boenning” needed to be in all caps! Shouting! Miss AI Siri and the Universe are surely conspiring.)

If I may ask, were today’s flowers rendered in oil pastels? Oops! Seeing the Keez Beez brush holder seems to suggest watercolors?

Last I’ll note that the last two days have had elements of cranked up music! Today: “Joy.” Yesterday: Beth and Izzy were compelled to find Dubstep music on Pandora. I was compelled to retire to my office! 🤔

Pace yourselves! It’s not even noon CST! 😁

Straight watercolor. When one makes a pool of water on paper, then covers a brush tip with color and touches it to the pool... there's a firework effect... almost as satisfying as the icy ledge crunch along the roadside's edge.

How could we not bite? Dubstep music... Pandora's response was fascinating! Some of the lyrics... 😱. Wiki tells me it's electronic dance music that originated in South London.

Our associate pastor’s children’s message today involved the kids watercoloring [actually milk with food coloring] pieces of toast.

ME: What?

DEB: Because Jesus is the Bread of Life. Pastor Amy wants to show the kids bread can be interesting.

ME: Ah! So Jesus is the bread of life...

DEB: Uh-huh.

ME: And He is risen...

DEB: (sees where I’m going, can’t stop me)

ME: ...because of the yeast?

[on an entirely unrelated note, I am not allowed to speak to the children without adult supervision]

What a creative and fun activity for the kids!

One day you’re going to have a t-shirt business of your own. 😂
