Gail, while I appreciate the ongoing visual evolution of your Muses, to me they are voices in my head. Not so much solid humans as color and sparkles and laughter and distant background music. Who eat cookies and play around in the kitchen... somehow.
Not to discourage you, just letting you know that you are painting what the number seven smells like. 😊
I am currently fascinated with the direction the girls are moving in… I believe, each of these characters will inwardly determine how they choose to be expressed and only Paintist will know when they have expressed themselves to their fullest for this present moment in time. There will be, I’m sure, additional adornments that become part of the fabric, that holds the thread, that reveals the character, of each of the muses as they continue to grow and evolve. After all, life is not static… We are either growing or dying. The girls are growing every day!

Great work Gail! Tal is surely a home run. Nia, yes, a bit overly pink, I think🤔 (I the color blind fan) But the banana on her right shoulder? Cal, in my book, might only need a slight upturn to the corners of her mouth?
Other smarter, more painterly followers have noted how you have developed your techniques. Not an art critic I, my gut instincts tell me much the same. I just remembered your recent remarks about the origin of dis-ease. Mind over gut? That gives greater depth to “gut instincts.” 🤷🏽
The not-sharp-knife again. It registered finally where “IF THIS IS IT” came from. Sly move! Slow brain. Huey was a baseball player before he realized line drives to the helmet were far less likely on stage... 🤪
Tal really has my number! Sometimes mysteries are best left unresolved. Then rigorous honesty comes into play. The “cosmic intrusion” label was my effort to glorify my typos! Yeah, ill conceived of course. Sometimes one really can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. 🤔
