Thalia blew fluff from a dandelion and sent seeds scattering on the wind. The Muse of Wit giggled. “Can you believe the kid asked Typist if her drawing was a cross between a rabbit and a dog?” “It’s obviously a fox,” sighed Urania. “Not everyone can see through her eyes, or our words. That’s why we continue to work on our skills.” The Muse of Determination snapped a dandelion stem and puffed every seed free with one blow.

Interesting about the arch muscle control. I do exercises from Apple’s Exercise+ via my iPad or Apple TV; the coaches will say things like, “Now, as you raise your weights over your head, really grip into the floor with your toes!” or “Raise your body off the floor with power, then lower with control!” So I am starting to get attuned to activating muscles to which I normally would not pay attention. And like the foot arches, sometimes it isn’t easy!
Some days we are the lungs and mouth tossing dandelion seeds to the four winds… Other days we are the seeds!
A delightful post today, Gail! Keep stringing words. This frequent dandelion seed seeks direction, and often you kindly point in the direction that one might go. PANCAKES!
Absolutely looked like a fox to me! This community that you have is wonderful. I am so glad to be a part of it.
I love the whole foot thing! I learned a lot about feet when I was in school. Lots about all those little tiny bones as well. Then you just forget about everything until you purchase a really cool pair of running shoes and you cannot even walk in them! I started to wear Xero’s now because they are like running barefoot. How much longer I can run or walk in them is crazy! From years upon years of wearing heels, swishing my toes, overextending my arches and raising my heels; it’s wonderful just to be comfortable! And pain free!
Our bodies were made for motion! Your free spirited muses know that!

For the record, I thought your fox looked a little like Ben. I showed my husband and he said, “that is a fox and not Ben.”
He saw your vision.
Glad the muses keep showing up. 💖
