A note from LoveLetterist:

This morning we've a recognition

that if we want to level up...

we're gonna have to hit

the books

and

lean

on those

who've already gone

where we want

to

go.

So true, Gail. Sometimes we have to step back from creating to learn how to improve our creations. BTW--how do you find quotes that so perfectly match your theme du jour???

Instead of stepping back, what if we keep stepping forward and showing our work along the way? That’s how we roll best. 😂

The quotes? Google and God!

Great post today Gail. I'm learning to level up I need to be around others, ask beautiful questions and not to be afraid to ask for help. Oh and have fun! :)

Keep going!

I'm right there with you on "all of the above".

For some reason... The Little Engine that Could springs to mind.

I haven't read that story since I was in the kindergarten classroom over a decade ago. I continue to marvel at how the good stuff lives inside of us.

Oh I love that book and have it on our reading shelf. Thank you Gail. I could use that book now as I move through this editing process...

I will read that today. :)

Yoga teacher Sarah often says, "It is in our nature to forget."

Love that you have the book ready to read as a reminder!

Today I will experiment with photographing mixed media images in a light box to see if I want to purchase a better one. One step at a time!

Thank you for this Gail.

I love what you are experimenting with. Today I'm working on the Appendix of the book: I want to include a few resources for my readers...affirmations, writing prompts...maybe 10 of each. It will give me a break from editing, too. :)

What a joy to share our efforts!

That’s the Spirit! “that if we want to level up...” I immediately thought of an airplane stuck in a dangerous nosedive that finally responds to the pilot and “levels up.” Maybe the Studio should be designated a No Fly Zone?

We feel we’re currently operating in the sweet spot between quenched and thirsty. It feels divine!

Magical!

Deftly done, Gail! The overall sense of softness registered first for me. Next, what caught my eyes, was that apparently Urania had donned her tutu and was working on her Grand Jete positions. Apparently she, too, doesn’t want to stay where she is. 🤔 I could have just seen a dandelion seed preparing for touchdown, suspended mid air by the artist’s brush. Plausibility, possibility. Check the mind’s eye.

Good, safe travels on your continued journey. If you encounter ballerinas raining down from the sky, pause and enjoy their skill set.

The yin to David Goggins yang? 😂

As for Nia... Do you see her setting down her Little Red Hen stubbornness?

You did see a dandelion seed! It was mixed in with the feathers so I extracted it and let it stand on its own.

Level up! Yes, yes and yes! It's too easy to stay comfortable.

Yes and,

reflecting on many of the times I get "stuck"

some of them I don't know I'm stuck

and others

I'm incredibly uncomfortable and

either afraid

or unsure.

It helps to see others making moves...

showing what is possible.

That works, too. For me, the break from doing--not that that I take them often!--is a nice reset.

One of the greatest gifts we can give each other is the understanding that we all operate best when using our own settings. 😂

In the past when I have taken a break, the effort to fire the engine back up seems tremendous.

Jay and I learned we are different in how we approach editing our writing. He gets it all out, then edits. I edit as I go.

All kinds of kinds!!
