The best way out is always through.
~Robert Frost

If we did not go through the morning, we would never discover what the afternoon knew...

Eventually, we come to realize that WE are doing nothing... Instead, we are being done.

How does the acorn become the oak? The caterpillar? When we squeeze an orange 🍊 what comes out? Why?

When life squeezes, (and it will), the only thing that will come out of us is what’s inside...

If we harbor not anger, resentment, and ugliness, then none of those things will come out when squeezed.

That doesn’t mean we are not capable of them though...

I will stop now before a book emerges... 😂🤣😂

Question... Does an acorn, orange, or caterpillar have any conscious decision making ability over what's inside of them? Do we?

They do not… we on the other hand were given the gift of free will. We have the ability to think and reason. We just don’t always remember…

We get to choose what to keep and what to discard. Every day is a blank canvas…

T-shirt: “They call it the Food Pyramid, but it looks like a triangle. Are there sides we can’t see? Do they have bacon? Caramel sundaes? COME CLEAN, USDA!” 😁

I've been on pills to help with my iron for the last couple years, Gail. Not because I'm unhealthy, exactly, but because I started getting refused when I tried to donate blood. And dammit, if I'm going to hydrate like crazy and get myself psyched to walk into the blood donation clinic, I WANT TO GIVE SOME BLOOD!

No problems the last three time, btw. 😊

A man after my own dessert loving heart!

The last time the blood center called to see if I'd come donate, I told them about c. They said I will not be eligible to donate again until 5 years after the "cure" call from my oncologist. I always felt so happy munching my pretzels and drinking apple juice from a can after my donation.

Glad to hear you are able and willing to share your meaty blood!

Needles freak me out, so I don't look at them. I get punched in a vein four times a year just for my diabetes, and I have not even the vaguest clue what sort of thing they use to draw blood. When Deb got her colonoscopy today and they put in the IV needle, she made sure to tell me to look away. And hers was tough — because she was going under anesthesia, she couldn't drink water for several hours before the procedure, so her blood vessels were small. Me, I drink water like a sponge before I get poked, never have a problem. Well, other than finding a restroom ASAP after getting my blood sucked...
