Nia shrugs and clears her throat. “Shoot!” Thalia turns up the music. “It’s okay…” Cal rests feather-light fingers on Nia’s trapezius, “She didn’t mean to draw in another book. We have so many… laying about… an honest…misstep.” “It wahzzz NOT a missssss-tep!” Thalia corrects. “Think of the possibilities! Wouldn’t UUUUUUU like to receive a book with a sirrrrr-prihhhz in it?”
I think it was in the book Curious by Ian Leslie where I read about a scientist standing next to a machine emitting microwaves. The chocolate in his pocket melted IIRC and that led to the invention of microwave ovens. Don’t fact check me on this… using my unreliable memory. 😂
Great Scott! You aren’t talking about spontaneous human combustion?! (A controversial topic which was recently confirmed by The National Institutes of Health, US.) Not amenable to normal antacid relief. 🙃
Powerful laptops used for competitive gaming are available with water cooling to keep the hardworking innards cool. Probably not a good idea for the start of winter conditions. 😉
That flash mob of one was kicking up her heels! The vigor of youth. Sigh...
I interpreted your art today as suggesting the Muses have found perfect duckling costumes and have big plans! Your costume? A Rhode Island Red?
Nope! After further review I see you attired as one of the fabulously colored breeds. That are capable of laying multicolored eggs. Just in keeping with the art of Musery. 🙃
Is the TOT route the neighborhood? Or Stephens Point, Nathaniel’s campus, to show his friends that his mom rocks! That otta do it...
I love that you're doing this! So fun and can you imagine the surprise when that page appears. You have me thinking...what surprise could I place inside my books. Thank you Gail.
A note from LoveLetterist:
Oops... I defiled a second book this morning.
Isn't that wonderful?!
It's amazing how once you start looking for possibilities, you find them popping up everywhere!
Wrong turns are as important as right turns.
More important, sometimes.

You’re afflicted too? Gasp!
If I looked up everything to cross check my big-brained memories, I’d self combust.
We do our best with the tools we’re given!

Then I’d need an anti-freeze material?
This is getting too complex! How about if I just avoid some rabbit holes?
If only all "oops-ies" were so beautiful!

Surprise! Will love to see what you come up with!
Thinking (which sometimes I overdo!)... thank you Gail!
Don't we all? 🙄
An over thinker loves company. 😂
So True! HA! Thanks Gail.
