Thalia turns up the music.
“It’s okay…” Cal rests feather-light fingers on Nia’s trapezius, “She didn’t mean to draw in another book. We have so many… laying about… an honest…misstep.”
“It wahzzz NOT a missssss-tep!” Thalia corrects. “Think of the possibilities! Wouldn’t UUUUUUU like to receive a book with a sirrrrr-prihhhz in it?”
Wrong turns are as important as right turns.
