I’m usually named “Gary” so you may not know I’m also a Muse named “Polyhymnia.” I’m the Muse of sacred hymns and poetry. If you attended an Easter Sunrise ceremony this morning I was the Muse of those that composed the music. I’ll share some lesser known subjects of my a-Musement: dance and eloquence. Which explains my synchronicity with Thalia and Urania! Also an inspiration for agriculture and pantomime. Spring allergies have affected my singing voice so I shall refrain this day from my own singing. While white is the usual color of my garments, inspired by today’s art work I’ll dress in a golden robe. 👘
The other Muses and I will be preparing a sacred hymn to be sung, acapella, at sunrise tomorrow morning. The Second Day of Easter, Easter Monday. Zeus kind of sprung that on me! (They’ve only been celebrating that for the last six centuries.) Strength in numbers! Muses to the rescue…
Hello Polyhymnia! If you should happen to feel my presence this evening, just know I’m reaching out as I haven’t yet composed my #TinySpringPoem yet today for for the Tiny Spring Poem challenge on Instagram and here in Substack with Beth Kempton.
Did you know I’m in love with Joy? You may have met her, if not, you’ve almost assuredly heard her singing in the hills or seen her in the distance climbing a mountain. I almost caught up with her once at Half Moon Bay in the moonlight, when she was playing with Moonshadow, but the horse she was on was much faster than mine…
She often visits, watching from a distance while I balance stones at First Creek. I regularly feel her presence, but alas, she’s a bit elusive…
Well, it sounds like you had a busy day but perhaps I’ll catch you and the others tomorrow at 🌄 sunrise… I rarely miss one you know… 😉
Wow, LoveLetterist! From your artwork this morning to the closing line of Schopenhauer’s writing you stimulated our seeing and being. All for the better, of course. 😊
Your sun bonnet, sundress, and bouquet are perfectly matched to “walk off the earth.”
Yesterday we played a game with our family called Hitster in which we were challenged to order songs by the year of release. It was fun! Music is a great connector!
A note from LoveLetterist:
YOU ARE INVITED!
Is today the day you'll name your muse?
Terpsichore? Euterpe? Polyhymnia? Serenity?
What say you?
You know what to do...
Will you do it?

Polyhymnia -- You have some great history.
Friday I'm going to see Croce Plays Croce. Did you have a hand in Leroy Brown and/or Time in a Bottle?
Time In A Bottle

All the best, all day long!
Thank you for your appreciation.
Tons of love went into today's image creation. :)
A note from Terpsi- I have been dancing and singing all day! Happy Easter and happy resurrection day! I will rest before the moon rises.
Yay! Dancing and signing are so good for us.
