What you have in your photo is, alas, about as much snow as we got in any one snowfall all winter. And it’s not just temperature, it’s precipitation. After pulling weeds and finding powdery soil, I’ve felt the need to water some of our flowers. In April!

But we have had a lovely spring overall. Hyacinths are done, daffodils are winding down, fruit tree flowers left with a windy weekend — but we had rain, so no complaints. Meanwhile our rose bushes are pepping up...

I'm certain my friend who lives in SW Minnesota would have been happy to share some of her snow. ❄️ I think they might still have piles hanging around even after last week's 80s.

Peppy roses! They are so beautiful. Do I remember correctly from photos that you have a variety with coral colored blooms?

I like to call the roses “pink,” but Deb tells me I suffer from Male Microsoft 16-Color Limitation — where a guy can only name the 16 colors in the MS Paint palette 😁

That may have been in the early days of MS-Dos code. So very much more rudimentary than today. My first desk top, a Wang Computer, ran Dos and the printer was dot-matrix. Those may have been 8-color days. 😬

These days MS-Dos is used in “Command Prompts” if you are rebooting from a major crash, etc. The good old days!
