What you have in your photo is, alas, about as much snow as we got in any one snowfall all winter. And it’s not just temperature, it’s precipitation. After pulling weeds and finding powdery soil, I’ve felt the need to water some of our flowers. In April!
But we have had a lovely spring overall. Hyacinths are done, daffodils are winding down, fruit tree flowers left with a windy weekend — but we had rain, so no complaints. Meanwhile our rose bushes are pepping up...
