“I know, I know — it was miyyyy experiment.” Thalia disconnects from an online call and unclasps Henny’s lead. “Even twehrrrr-lers get it wrong sometimes.”
Nia rubs her temples. “In the future we choose one — or the other.”
“We learned something… some things. First, no experiment is wasted.” Sparks light the corners of Cal’s eyes. “And… doing several things at once… robs us! Trying to walk and talk and listen and pick up poo and greet the neighbors while zooming was… YUCK! We prefer… one activity at a time.”
Presence is more than just being there.

Was I surprised! At first I thought the shoe in the drawing was a Kabuki mask with a handlebar mustache. My “advanced vision” is hard at work...
Taken literally, Cal’s statement would preclude chewing gum and walking at the same time? Or conversing with a neighbor as Henny’s walk takes her past an outdoor neighbor?
For the sake of an open-ended approach to being I’m on Thalia’s team. Twirling included! 💃🕺🏼😊
I think poo pickup should count as three things. WAAAY over max quota. Non-optimal success inevitable. 💚
