… to spill the secret motivations that spurred us to leave the Land of Laziness — cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain — to find the blades of No One Made You Do This — so that we could cut our chests open to yank books out of us.

The good news is that Jay Armstrong and I are persistent and creative.
With only two of us present, we took the opportunity to record our conversation.
I’m delighted by the initiative that you and Jay put in to “suit up/show up.” I started to say, “with chests riven,” and glad I checked that! A bit more violent than intended. Opened just the same. I sense there will be more. 😊

I also thought of setting aside the idea of who we think we “should” be.
I continue to be amazed every day at the sign posts and directions LIFE lays at my feet. It takes a lot of awareness to recognize them as such! I pulled an I Spy Christmas book out of a bin yesterday… it’s like that without the list of what you’re supposed to find. 😂
