“Sometime in your life you will go in a journey. It will be the longest journey you have ever taken. It is the journey to find yourself.” ~ Katherine Sharp
I had to run several fingers through my snow covered noggin to decipher Marie Kondo’s advice. “Choosing” suggests also “valuing” and “appreciating.” Like past, pleasant memorabilia, and gifted creations? A parent or grandparent’s bequest.
As for 1040 season, I propose a moratorium!
Happy to hear something that is not the glint of falling ice streaming through the windows today. Yay Henny!
I recently read in the Tao Te Ching that ownership is a "tax".
The idea resonates with what I value... If I own it, I bear some responsibility for it. Consciously or subconsciously it is something I carry... a tax of sorts.
And this is why Marie wants us to decide what in our lives brings us JOY?
“We should be choosing what we want to keep, not what we want to get rid of.”
~Marie Kondo
There’s much to be reflected upon with this quote...

T-shirt: “The older I get, the more I regret the people I‘ve lost over the years. (Maybe being a trail guide wasn’t my best idea.)” 😁

Because we hire Tony, my only pinch lies in gathering the materials. Then I let him do the work while I pet Nacho. Woof!
