Thank you Monty! Just off a call in which we discussed needs versus wants. Obviously our physical self has certain needs and many wants… perhaps the same is true for our emotional and spiritual self?
Being able to share my experiences feels like a need to me. Thanks for being with me and for your prayers.
By my reading of 3musesmerge today, (as always subject to my idiosyncrasies) I believe The Muses - hi Tal, Nia, and Cal - have come a long way in understanding this situation. One day, nowhere to be seen on their radar screen. Then, everywhere, like love bugs on your windshield in May! Sorry, a Florida thing…
Your niece’s presence of mind was delightful to read about. So besides your incomparable trio of Muses, the rest of your family, fellow creatives, yoga pals, and readers here, going forward you will have an amazing amount of support.
Last, WAY TO GO HENRIETTA! Yet another vital team member.
I can't say that I know how you are feeling right now. And I am still sending prayers. I like though how you are incorporating this setback into you writing. It must not be easy but you are doing great.
Thank you Pennie. Writing about it actually helps me process and re-frame. It’s easy to be swept into fear centered thinking… sharing through writing gives me enough pause to choose love based thinking instead.
Answering Thalia’s question, of course the surgeon carves the Turkey! 🦃
Obviously, she uses different instruments and techniques but the results are masterful…
Not sure they make gravy though… 🤷🏻♂️
I once heard emotions are neither good nor bad, they just are. It’s what we do with them that determines everything.
Intuition here is paramount in my experience.
No one knows us better than we know ourselves but we must give ourselves permission to acknowledge our intuition and filter out the noise that’s bound to emerge.
I am grateful to be a love bug on the wall as typist and the girls share her journey with all of us!
Henny is a Boss… of Typist! She’s currently wet and muddy from the dog park an will not let me anywhere near her with a towel. Lesson: Do not unclasp leash before toweling her off.
Appreciate… It’s what we do with our emotions that determines everything. I have been gifted lessons that have taught me how to honor and feel, pause and reframe, keep going. Who knows… C might turn out to be a gift. Like the Zen story about farmer, horse, and son… We’ll see.
Haha! If that’s taboo, the muses and I are slightly aware and feel a little punch when we do it, but we care much more about expressing ourselves than any arbitrary sentence structure rules.😊
As Churchill said (I think — sounds like Winnie, anyway), "Ending a sentence with a preposition is an error up with which I shall not put!" 😁 I do it all the time in dialog, it's how real people talk.
I'm sure that this is an emotional time for you but know that you are being prayed for!

Well… I just let Google give me a little education on love bugs. Fascinating!
Yes! Lots of support. Grateful.

Grateful for you. Thank you for walking with me.
You're welcome. Without fear we are not human, but with knowledge and understanding, we will persevere.

Finally, HENRIETTA is a BOSS in my opinion! 🏆

Ahhh! Intuition. I can hear you.
There is a bar which a preposition-ended sentence walked into. 😁
