My mind seems so small compared to that of Helen Keller!

Me too! People who accept reality and are able to push beyond its "imagined" constraints amaze me!

As for Reality, despite seeing that “State” was missing, I dredged up my memories and glommed them onto her experiences! A cousin of cutting someone off in conversation “because we know what they were going to say anyway?”

Oh! I just saw a quote! Our biggest communication problem is that we do not listen to understand; we listen to reply. 😯 I’m getting way better at catching myself!

Even the muses cut each other off! Thanks for a conversation idea!

Thanks for your scrutiny! Being 1000+ feet above pavement wasn’t required for Helen Keller to EXPERIENCE what she wrote in her letter?

hmmmm... I'm not sure. She did mention the sensations she experienced in the elevator. And perhaps her body felt different at the height?

In an “un-punly” way I note that Thalia reminds me of a flower child from the 60’s. And I can hear Tiny Tim off in the distance performing, “Tiptoe through the tulips.” I’m really hoping Nia found her best UV resistant sunglasses!

Thanks for including Helen Keller’s remarks on the Empire Building. While I, too, stood atop the tower on the observation deck, I missed a lot.

My brain, low on caffeine, initially missed the “T” theme. I can’t wait for Uranus’s grand entrance!

We haven't been to the Empire State Building... yet. Rumor has it Typist might take us there this summer!

Urania... plotting and planning how she can put her best foot forward. 🤔

I’m curious about when “State” began appearing between Empire and Building? The observation level has many more barriers now than when I visited in 1970. The viewing scopes ran on quarters back then. 🤔 Credit cards now?

Huh! There are two buildings… the Empire Building and the Empire State Bulding. 🤷‍♀️
