My “feel” of the poem suggests you wrote it somewhat early in the cancer dance?! As the process continued did you write other poems? Not unlike taking one’s emotional temperature.
Words and phrases helped me see your vague horizon, tinged with Higher Power calm. Just now, riding a bull at the rodeo comes to mind.

Actually... while looking for inspiration, I found this poem in my Medium archive... long before "c" became my challenge. 🤷🏻♀️ It is a good fit though, isn't it?
