Hahaha! I have a teacher friend who often hopes not to run into parents of her students at the grocery.π
I dropped some GoSK mini cards in the mail for you and Deb. I feel Big Joy when I think about the ripples you guys continue to spread with them πβ₯οΈπ
Thanks for the shares! Both for the song (I don't suppose they would consider a name change to "Banjo Three and Fiddle-de-dee"?) and the light, today's Sparks of Wonder! Any chance you were a telegrapher in another lifetime? I liked the dash dot dash dot dash pattern in the blue, 4-star burst?!
I scanned comments on YouTube for this song and saw a reference to Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, and area I backpacked in years past. Our travels took us through the Slickrock Wilderness with similarly stunning overlooks into the valley below and mountains beyond. If the production crew packed in their gear to such a spot, they got their money's worth. Yes, rough travels. In those days I believed such outings were well worth the effort! Thanks for the memory prod!
Picasso went through a period when he quickly dashed off sketches using (I think) charcoal on rough sketch paper. He developed the sketches into βa lookβ that he became known for. Years later I met a young, struggling artist who produced similar sketches. Of course I never saw Picasso at work, but this fellow similarly executed his sketches with impossible speed and skill.
So perhaps βrushing your workβ could help you develop a similar, quickly executed stylized approach that might lend itself to βcomic strips,β errr, βthoughtful strips?β π
T-shirt: βMY GROCERY LIST: 1. Donβt run into anyone I know 2. Yogurt" π
Fortunately I'm married to someone with the same list, and we like to grocery shop together. π

Not a telegrapher, nor do I know Morse code. π
Thanks for your firework drawing appreciation. As per my usual, I had to get out the door and had no time to overthink it.
WeBanjo3 will be performing at Irishfest in Milwaukee in August. Iβm intending to be in the audience for both shows. πͺ

Hurrah! Thank goodness not the βDeliveranceβ banjos!π
Thoughtful strips⦠hmmm!
There is some synchronicity around that consideration.
Thinking out loud: Four boxes⦠each muse with a thought⦠and a wrap up from Typist?
All of life is an experiment! I might give it a try. π
