Your fuzzy buddy has found a very comfortable spot! I've yet to master the art of daytime napping. And as you rest, I would guess you are ginning up new ideas in paint and word. Rest long and well. Pssst! Muses? No slumber party tickling allowed! Especially with typist!
Outside of illness, I’ve never experienced such weariness. It’s not terrible… just keeps me from doing much… including thinking and planning.
We did pick up an order from some friends who are opening a bakery’. I am dazzled by their merchandise! Thalia’s ready to start making t-shirts and coffee mugs! Musandise!😁
And a masterful job it was! Your difficulty thinking and planning rings a bell for me. My first response often involves some self-denigration. I’d wager that your masterful engagement with life might incline you to say, “Yay. This means ease back on the throttle. Take a chill pill.”
What did you order from your friends who are opening a bakery? A before bedtime treat, or a morning yummy to accompany piping hot coffee? I hope it borders on perfection. Both good for you (and Muses) and their business!
Nice to see Tal shares your entrepreneurial spirit. Would she accept your coaching? 😉
Bobby has given us the day to rest, relax, recharge, and reflect. I myself reflected on his great it would be to just stay in bed a few extra hours, give myself some grace, go for acupuncture without any time restraints, eat a leisurely and mindful breakfast, clean the house slowly, and map out some writing time. I wish you a day of peaceful naps, and recharging of your whole body. Saving my yoga practice for later on.
I wish I could take credit for the idea to rest relax, recharge, and reflect. Alas, it was Billie who inspired me to make the suggestion… Also, I am blessed with a mentor who has taught me that “slow is smooth and smooth is fast…” This has been a tremendous lesson for me. One of the greatest lessons I have implemented into my own daily rituals, regimens, routines, and way of life… I no longer push as hard as I once did. I no longer press for the solution to show up. I understand that if I make space for the solution, it will arrive in divine time.
I have gotten away from asking “How?”
Also, I have come to realize, the when is rarely up to me…
I now only use when as a way to create action around what I have control over. In other words, I use when as a “by when” method of self-accountability.
The ultimate “how” and “when” are way beyond my scope, pay grade, and Universal ability…
I just recently “rediscovered” this expression and I absolutely love it. It takes a lot of the pressure off…
“Choosing to honor the tidal nature of life, I do not push for artificial solutions born of haste and indiscretion. I allow the universe to unfold with divine timing. I attune myself to the tempo of my highest good.”
~Julia Cameron
#Grateful for ALL of YOU and this beautiful community supporting “Typist” “Paintist” AND “The Girl’s” on “THEIR” (OUR) path…
“Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.” That is fabulous!
I too am trying to align with divine time. I appreciate J. Cameron’s quote. It reminds me of another by Toni Morrison, “If you learn to catch the wind you can ride it.”
T-shirt: “LET’S GIVE A SHOUT-OUT TO ALL THE LIBRARIANS… oh, I’m sorry” 😁
I'll find a quieter quip tomorrow! 😴
Haha! Have you seen this?
Bloody hell. Looking at a message
from the Ukraine Library
Association concerning the
cancellation of their forthcoming
conference. it basically says
"We
will reschedule just as soon as we
have finished vanquishing our
invaders". Ukrainian Librarians, I
salute you

CURE!
Two bags of their unique Bread Pedalers whole bean coffee roast and a t-shirt.
The sisters are professional cyclists. Great name for their bakery?
I had the great honor of writing some copy for their website! 😊

Where would we be without homophones?! 🤔
