“Tooooooooooaaaaaassteeeeeee!” Thalia stood in front of studio’s newest addition. “Sensible.” Urania looked outside to find flakes falling once more. “Now that we have decided on our projects… we can channel our energy and focus…” Calliope crunched a slice of apple. “Our challenge is… to leave ourselves wiggle room as new information becomes available.”
Good job, Gary! I love "haikuery," too--it's clever and practical, as opposed to so many words in the English language that must leave non-native speakers scratching their heads. Pare and pair and pear--ridiculous. 🤣 I'm definitively in focus season lately, Gail. When this season ends, I'll be happy to return to exploration. Or to just being.
I snuck a peek at Waukesha’s AccuWeather forecast for today. Yikes! Well below freezing; very windy; snowing (confirmed by Urania); and a chilly 9° tonight! More yikes. Greg nailed it with the new space heater. Happy warm studio. 😊
House chores beckon. My time to focus, music playing in the background. To everything there is a season...
My season is a little of both. I'm exploring the depths of my heart in order to write a new series of stories based on Thanksgiving and Christmas. And my focus has wandered some due to the holidays but in order to get a story written each week I have to refocus on my focus.
Sign: “Want to frighten the new generation? Put them in a room with a rotary phone, an analog watch, and a TV with no remote. Then leave them complete directions. In cursive.” 😁
Okay, less practical than a space heater, but more fun (in a cruel sort of way)!
“What’s your current season?
Exploration or Focus?”
How about focused exploration?
Focused on creating Serenity Altars and exploring many different avenues for serving my audience of intention.
Focused Creative Exploration! 😊
