An inspired work today typist, drawist, paintist, writist! And let’s not forget nowist! I can’t imagine a better evening. Were the frosted animal cracker and biscotti inspired by, perhaps part of, Frozen Frog final touches?

Frozen Frog reminds me of a long ago incident. (A wee bit less wonderful than your evening.) En route to an anniversary getaway, a driver ran a stop sign in Apalachicola, FL. What unfolded could have been from 30 years earlier. 50’s. As that drama unfolded, the owner of Frog Level Bar approached us and offered passes for free drinks if we were so inclined. Returning later that evening (our car mostly survived) for dinner in the finest hotel/restaurant in town, we began our evening at Frog Level! A festive crowd had assembled so we shared in their high spirited mood - of frogs, rivers, mariners of old? Once finished with dinner @ the inn, well after sunset, we discovered the accident had realigned our headlights, almost to Frog Level! We drove very slowly back to our cottage rental. 🙃

So here’s a wish for a grand rest of your day, raindrops or no, and perhaps creative inspiration in the form best fitting you and the Muses!!

There's a road named "Frog Alley" that leads to one of our walking spots at the Vernon Marsh.

I didn't think to ask Frozen Frog's owner about the name. 🤔 Next time.

Thanks for sharing your story. Ha! Headlights realigned to Frog Level. 😄

It was a perfect late-summer day!

Now on Sunday, it poured cats and dogs here all day, but that too had a certain charm. I took two very wet walks with Henny... a nice shift from the heat. Later I relaxed with a book and some Netflix.

Yay! for appreciating what the day brings.

T-shirt: “MY BODY IS A TEMPLE. Ancient and crumbling. Probably cursed or haunted.” 😁

Just a counterpoint to the ballet bodies Paintist did so well. 😁

My companion who has danced, taught dance, and choreographed dances commented at how healthy the dancers looked -- not stick thin like a few decades ago. Their athleticism wowed me! And yes... I AM jealous of their muscles!
