Notes from LoveLetterist:

First...

I can't believe it has taken me this long to share Julie's Run to Write love letter with you all. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Last week, along with her potent poetry, Julie shared appreciation for Poise with her readers.

I'm grateful!

Thank you Julie!

Are you ready to strap on your Courage?

Please consider subscribing to Run to Write.

I suspect we'll travel to jaw-dropping vistas.

Second...

I am so grateful that my friend Sharon sent me 3 (3!) watercolor original postcards.

Each one feels meaningful.

Again, I was slow in getting off the ledge to purchase my own.

I don't think it's so much the speed that matters though...

It is the willingness to keep going and growing.

Gail, where do you purchase these postcards. My daughter loves to paint and write letters... this would a great for her.

I purchased them from Amazon:

48 Sheets 4x6 Watercolor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5RBLF3N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

What I love is that I can paint and send! I currently have dozens of paintings sitting in a folder waiting for… ???

I often wonder if there are phonetic rules for Tal’s exclamations? 😉

On the watercolor postcard appears a “cloud” just below and slightly to the right of the sun. A sharper outline than other clouds. A witch flying her broomstick? (Not intended as criticism of the art or artist. A passing Rorschach moment.)

Whoopi Goldberg’s comment made me remember that same belief by her character in The Color Purple from 1985. Inspiring. Sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Psst! Tell Tal they’re Leatherman multi-purpose tools. Available at the Swiss Knife Shop...

Rules? Thalia has no idea what you are talking about! 😂

The dark cloud? Just experimenting with dropping in extra color is all.

It has been many, many years since I saw The Color Purple. Can you link me to a scene?

I’m not sure I know how to do that on SubStack. I can Google the movie and pass along links that way. I see the 3 dots in your comment. I seem to also have misplaced my carbon paper...

As I learned, Spielberg’s remake of the movie also created a black hole that seems to have swallowed all the 1985 trailers and the like. I did send one scene from 1985 via message.

You cracked me up about just dropping in a little color!🤣 Like touching up The Mona Lisa?
