Thank you Gary! I was inspired in part by my morning reading. One meditation talked about giving your soul an hour each day — without guilty feelings.
What I’m curious about is…. How many of us are aware of the activities that feed our soul? From my experience, I needed to try a bunch of stuff to find out! Bureaucrat, kindergarten teacher, food entrepreneur, writer. That said… soul pleasing doesn’t have to involve a career or money?
I have a friend who finds great joy in entertaining, another with her hobby farm, yet another cooking and taking care of her grandson. All kinds of kinds!
I see some parallels in our life stories, post high school. Chemical engineer, mineral economist, clinical psychologist, state bureaucrat, derelict (no parallel with your life), carpenter, project manager, semi-retired mr fixit. Sometimes I remark, “I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up?” At a very young age, when a “grown up” asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I replied, “A firetruck.” His attempt to correct me just got the same reply from me. With all the bio-engineering these days, at 73 I can’t entirely rule out the firetruck option!
T-shirt: “Somebody should write a book where the characters slowly fall in love with the reader” 😁
I'd buy it!
OMG! What a creative idea! I’m fascinated by it. 🤔
Wow, paintist, writist, inspirationist, typist! A commissioned work? Be careful what you wish for.
Rocky mountain hi
So glad your spirit’s shining

I shared a blurb attributed to Mark Twain with you recently. One part read “kiss long.” Taking that approach, will germination take a little longer? 🙃
Wishing a bountiful day for you!
