BUTTON: “Remember, if Plan A fails, there are 25 letters left.” 😁
Right. Definitely. I see the Muses as real but not totally tethered to our plane of existence, so sometimes they present themselves as audible and visible, but sometimes as audible as an echo and as visible as an afterimage, and sometimes like a memory in real time.
After the episode of shelf shabble shifting yesterday, did Cal find a copy of Walt Whitman’s “The Leaves Of Grass?” I realized I would always use “blades” while Cal and Walt far more poetically chose “leaves.” 🤔 But I can alliterate...
Gail, I see more detail in the facial expressions today? Not on the left, of course. With the cases of monkey pox on the rise, I’d hate for the Muses to not be able to roam about the country! You’ve set my mind to ponder what details comprise a character’s unique look.
Early on you felt that each Muse having her own distinctive color was a key part. Now, as your mastery of drawing and painting progresses, that may be less critical. Hair styles have risen in prominence. And today’s stylized postures intrigue me. Not too much detail devoted to legs or footwear may well serve to allow focus on other more prominent features?
That you have utilized a pointillist style for more pizzazz strikes me as a way to draw the reader/see-er into the images.

You've noticed I have an A-Z theme running through my writing life? 🤪
Ooooh! The muses say you can write their bios anytime. Nicely done!

No! We actually took part of the sentence from somebody else who stole it from Walt! 😂
In Burying Ground by Barbara Kingsolver:
“This cemetery is full of too much living, leaves of grass exhaling under our polished shoes…”

Whatever you’re up to, keep doing it. 🙃
Stop! The muses do not have monkey pox. 😂
And thanks for the rest of your comment. 😊
Left, all the way.
Thank you! Tomorrow I’ll circle back and share my “whys”.
I like the right one where you can see their faces.
I love the one on the right- whimsical dots on dresses with clear smiles on their faces… always a big fan of smiles 😃
Left! Happy atoms floating around....
I also like left! I cannot wait to hear why!
Keep getting those “C” gifts. They are beautiful
Love the right because I love seeing their faces.
Loving your punchiness with words this week.
