This morning the muses and I are meeting a hero on Zoom.
No kidding!!!!
We are meeting #ordinaryhero Jay Armstrong for our first face-on-screen to face-on-screen connection.
I have long been a fan girl of Jay's resilience, humor, and writing style.
Little did I know when we first connected on Medium that one day we'd be authors -- kicking back --talking about words and creating book awareness together.
I'm telling you this because... It is never too late to begin baby steps toward your dreams. I didn't even know it was possible for me to write grammatically correct dialogue seven years ago.
Abe Lincoln said something like: Discipline is putting off what you want right now for what you want in the future.
What do you want enough to sacrifice for it?
If you're here, I suspect you will resonate with Jay's stories. Here his most recent dream realized:
Thanks for this post. As you know, I sometimes come unstuck in time... This time I wanted to look more closely at Karl Ove Knausgaard’s book, Autumn. So in no time Amazon reported that since I’ve already bought one of his books, why not buy this one!
I’ve not bought any of his books! Thanks to you passing along this quote from yesterday’s James Clear post, now I have a trickle of familiarity.
I hope the return trip, from becoming unstuck, passes quickly. I have to prepare dinner for tonight.😉
And, before I completely forget (I had begun) thanks for exhibiting your colorful drawings, and showing the eager support your Muses provide. What a total, fantastic team!
And you as well. I like how our earlier back and forth about multiple personalities expressed by your Muses has become so much an actual part of you! 😁

What beautiful drawings Gail. AND Gary just sent me Jay's work yesterday...how cool and exciting to speak with him today. Thank you.
Oh and yes this quote did feel familiar. :)
We had a super conversation. Time flew!
Amazing! :)

Me too!
A shift toward wholeness.
