Innnterjections

Show excitement,

Or emotion.

They're generally set apart from a sentence

By an exclamation point,

Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.

That brings back great memories, thanks for the reminder. I was up early to watch cartoons and the Schoolhouse Rock series was sprinkled amongst them. No cares, me and a bowl of cereal and cartoons. What brings back warm fuzzy emotions like that for you?

You got this.

Wasn’t Schoolhouse Rock the best? I still love the songs. Definitely warm fuzzy emotions when I hear them… Figure 8, I’m Just a Bill, Conjunction-junction, What’s your function?

I can’t remember… was it a show? Or songs/skits shown in between the cartoons?

There were added between the cartons. I thought they were on all channels but apparently they were ABC only. Kinda fits. :)

ABC as in -- learning the ABCs. I love that!

Ugh is such a good descriptor Gail. Take care of yourself - that is enough ox

Thank you Kathy. I’m rebounding today… I love this Monday! Still a way to go, but turning that corner is like riding a hot air balloon filled with hope.

Ugh…I resemble that remark. Rest well. Only one more to go! Kicking c to the curb is tiring.

Nothing quite like a friend to share UGH! with.

The very embodiment of Heraclitus! As our flow of “present moments” unfolds, we are indeed ever changing. That you can embrace your array of present moments serves as a reminder for Acceptance. Thank you Gail!

Thanks Gary! What a joy it is to be able to read and write today… On Saturday I was so scrambled I couldn’t even stand to look at my phone.

Heraclitus… Health seems best after sickness. He was 100% on point with that one!

Gail, I believe you see the joy goes both ways with your climb back from Saturday’s dithers! For some unexplainable reason, I just pictured the Seven Dwarfs surrounding Sleeping Beauty as she awakens from the poison apple!

I see the response from this community reflecting the same energy. Good for you!

I feel incredibly blessed with friendship and love. When I wrote that first 100 Naked Words post 6 years ago I had no idea of the grand adventure I was embarking on.

Grateful!

Conjunction Junction, what’s your function?

https://youtu.be/4AyjKgz9tKg

I guess “ugh” is not a conjunction…

I’ll see your conjunction and raise you an interjection! 😉

As Billie said, kicking “c” to the curb is hard, dedicated work.

You got this and we’ve got YOU! 🤗
