Disapproval dripped from Urania’s tone like sour milk. “Over thirty-six-hundred. How did that happen?”
“Well… ummm… you see…” Calliope squirmed in her seat. “I’ve been taking screen shots of quotes, articles, sketches, and other online tidbits that I think we might want to revisit.”
“And do we,” Nia mimed air quotes, “revisit?”
Calliope slumped. “No… not really… maybe sometimes, but usually, no.”
“Eeeee!” Thalia squealed. “Perfect! The great phone switcheroo-snafu shook loose an awareness! Typist’s phone photo album is not in step with her values. Now we get to downsize and decide which photos bring us joy!”
Words from Typist:
Well, well, well… my high school driver’s ed teacher was on to something when she told us that in every accident, we bear some responsibility — even if it’s only for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or maybe it’s the right place at the right time?
Most of my weekend transfer trouble stemmed from too much data and not enough space. I’ve already deleted over 1000 images and there’s still plenty that can be cut.
In every challenge there’s an opportunity to reflect and grow.

Space! The Final Frontier! I sometimes refer to myself as a Sentimental Hoarder. A hoarder just the same...
My “collection?” Over 10,000 images. Over 300 videos! I had no idea! Yet the 64 Gb memory isn’t complaining? Yes, Bobby, clouds is good. 🙃. But the numbers are for contents of my phone Library?!
Images date back to my first iPhone/iPhone 4. Almost like folks surreptitiously returning over due books after 20 years. For Sentimental Reasons... (Nat King Cole)
T-shirt: “ADULTING ★☆☆☆☆ would NOT recommend” 😁
You have 3,600+ photos? Bless your heart! 😌
41,120 photos, 818 videos, 1 item in total (no, I have not figured out what "1 item" is... yet) synchronized across a phone, an iPad, and two Macs. And the cloud, which is where this stuff really lives (my phone actually just keeps a thumbnail of my non-recent photos and videos). Oh, and a local backup drive, which Deb has designated as "the thing we grab if we can only grab one thing when the house is on fire" because it has all the photos.
