look Ma - we're dancing!

“Of corrrrrr-sssss — we could do better if we tried again —” Thalia sensed something was off with the ballerina’s torso, and she didn’t like the charcoal pencil’s rough edge and unwelcome smudges. Does the watercolor background cause it to cling? “Creating our tiny dancer was tons of fun! And there are many more images we want to try — What have we been waiting for?!”

Urania gulped, looking more green in the face than pink.

“We weren’t waiting…” Calliope winked at Nia, “… everything up until now… has been preparation and research.”

My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there.

I love the ballerina. Her smile and posture makes me smile and feel as if she has just had a great workout. She’s tired from pushing herself in ways she never thought possible, kinda like what you do on a daily basis. She’s proud of herself and ready for the next challenge. Keep growing and exploring my friend.

“We weren’t waiting…” Calliope winked at Nia, “… everything up until now… has been preparation and research.” ~Typist & The Girls...

What if we ALL gave ourselves permission to embrace this idea as the foundation for everything we still intend to do? And, what if we turned those intentions into commitments, not to try to be perfect, but instead, to embrace #Curiosity #Wonder #Creativity #Experimentation #TrialAndError and do I dare say it? #Failure

How could there ever be failure if we embraced this quote as our philosophy for how to show up each day?

Today, I commit to more research, preparation, practice, and ACTION!

The magical thing about my Serenity Altars meditative art practice, is the ability to lay things down, pick them back up, turn them a different way, assemble, reassemble, disassemble, and reimagine each of my creations. I recently completed a trio of art pieces from the same material... It feels pretty spectacular!

I’m conducting research and preparing every day!

How exciting!
