Nia packs up the pencils. “Enough for tonight. We’re making it — worse!” Thalia sees possibilities. “We can call it a pawwwwn-key!” Calliope feels satisfaction… Nia’s awareness that enough is enough is freeing… and Tal’s silliness brightens the room.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. In many ways some here in the audience are challenged to acknowledge that we have many good parts of our lives, and to treasure them all. Even ones that need a kind thought and some polishing to restore the shine.
As you and Henrietta go on walk about, refrain from humming Don McLean’s lyrics, “I’ve got nothing on my mind; nothing to remember.” Maybe basic brain rest is salubrious?!
Ponkey! This made me laugh Gail. You are so clever. I loved the drawing...I thought it was super. Enjoy your walk. The sun is shining here and I hope it makes it's way to you.
I am always delighted to view your “struggles.” Be they burrows or belfries. And to watch you evaluate progress and decide what skills serve you best. Discernment.
The burrow allowed me to believe that you were working on a Nativity scene. Well suited to this time of year. 😊
Owing to technical difficulties (mine) my attempt to peer at the Spider-Man link just said “Page not available.” A golden opportunity to mine my own images and thoughts. 😁
In my own estimation I saw much more than “nothing.” The continued detailing of The Muses added a nice touch! Cinnamon and Cardamom and Ginger.
A note from LoveLetterist:
I got nothing.
And Henny really wants her walk now.
Have an amazing day!

salubrious = health-giving
And Mother Nature is in agreement.

Looking back at my comment, I see I was waylaid by a homophone. 😔 “burrow” looked a bit amiss. But I often frequent rabbit holes. Burrows?
I was intending to convey some small donkey-ness. A burro. Shazbutt. Robin Williams/Mork and Mindy...
The kid had a homophone assignment back in grade school. He was supposed to document as many as he could. I really got into it. So much fun!
I thought you were referring to the possum I recently shared. I don't even know if they burrow, but simply accepted the connection. 😁
Loved Mork and Mindy!
Know no! 😂

I did the best to salvage the ponkey with some adjustments and paint.
I wrote on the postcard: I'm supposed to be a donkey. Something is not quite right. 😂
Thanks Julie!
Love it! :) It will give a smile for sure to the mailbox it lands in.
