What is a gift? 🎁

YOU! The girls and YOU are gifts...

People that write on and fight on are gifts!

Gratitude is a gift.

As William Arthur Ward once said, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”

This article is a gift! Your love letters are gifts...

Good prompt for good decision making. I once worked for a fellow who counseled us to start each day by making a “to do” list on a clean sheet of paper, putting “Make a list” as the first item. That way, with list completed, one could cross off a task!

Three of your four links worked. Nice to be reminded of Lucy! But “Michael” went back to Jay? Possibly related to my eye exam next week? 😬

“Shiiiiiny people” indeed! I am reminded of “Let The Sun Shine” by the Fifth Dimension in the score of the musical “Hair.” In other circumstances, letting the Sun Shine Out may not be a bad strategy. Writing Love Letters as one example. 😁

Thanks for the Sunshine!

Oh snap! Showing off my fallibility charm again. 🤷‍♀️

Michael J. Fox… I found Still to be quite impactful.

Have you seen General MacCraven’s (spelling???) commencement address that proposes making your bed as a first step of completion for each day?

Someone recently called fallibility markers “endearing.” 😉

Michael J Fox is indeed inspirational, like Jay Armstrong.

Making my bed in the morning? Is that to Boot Camp standards, with sheets & blanket stretched to trampoline tightness? (That used to be the test). I’m doubtful about the trampoline test, but worth a try! Usually there’s a dog flopped across the bed. Let sleeping dogs lie? 🤔 😬

Does Izzie have a first task of her day? Woof!

Morning bisquit! (Not organic but packed with good stuff. Even green-lipped mussels!) Maintaining the bond? I often place the biscuit in my mouth and she very gently grasps it.

Awwww! I might lose my nose if I try that with Henny!

Labs and retrievers in general are often referred to as having a “soft mouth.” Funny how food can override good judgement. Izzie is very gentle, even when she takes Buster’s entire head in her mouth. 😆

I love this Gary!

“I once worked for a fellow who counseled us to start each day by making a “to do” list on a clean sheet of paper,”

When I was at my most productive and focused -- single broker office focused on building -- the mentor I had offered similar advice with a tweak...

He guided me to end the day by making the list for the next day (morning at least).

What I found for me (then) was I gained 2 full hours of morning productivity. Especially for the non-people facing things.

Now that I’m getting back into a more traditional office setting (full of distraction and connection) I’m reminded by your post to pay attention to my routine!
