Beautiful post and I love the quote you added from Mother Teresa. Drink in every kind act. You radiate much light to others. I read a quote yesterday about giving to others: "Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have."-Jim Rohn

I’m just home from a walk with a friend. Her husband died from cancer a couple of years ago. We talked about how we both are/were challenged to accept gifts and kindness. We’d both received life memos to give and not take. Isn’t that interesting?

I keep reminding myself that gracious receiving is a gift. ♥️

Thanks for sharing Jim Rohn’s quote Billie!

On Jim Rohn, my earliest Mentor…

What I remember him saying:

Giving starts the receiving process. That’s why it’s better to give than receive.

What he actually said:

“Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.”

~Jim Rohn

What a remarkable story his life was. Idaho Farm boy makes it to Beverly Hills…

His words, permanently changed my life. He painted a picture that I could not yet see, at a time when I had minimal traction. I revisited his words often. Slowly, over time, one day at a time, my life began to change, and it’s never been the same.

I will be forever grateful. 🙏🏼

I see Typist, Paintist, and the Girls, doing the same thing, but in their very own YOUnique and spectacularly, wonder-filled, way! 😎

Thanks Bobby!

I spent much of the afternoon creating notes of gratitude for some of the gifts I have been given. There can be much joy in being a gracious receiver. ♥️💜💚

Billie-

Thanks for the #Inspiration and opportunity to #Gratitude stack for Jim Rohn. He literally changed millions of lives in his lifetime. He saved some lives too. I was only 8 months clean and sober when I met Mr. Rohn at the seminar I attended courtesy of a ticket provided by my newly reunited long lost biological mother… I never new her growing up and one of the first things she did was introduce me to Mr. Rohn’s Idaho farm boy magic…

My ticket included a voucher for an autographed limited edition copy of his new book at the time. I have copy #251 of 2500 dated 2/21/91. The Five Major Pieces To The Life Puzzle. It’s one of my treasures…

July 4th I will celebrate my 32nd year. Each day has come, “One Day At A Time.”

Thanks for the memory! 🙏🏼🕊🙏🏼
