Henny was allowed freedom from a leash at the Vernon Marsh today. While we walked the dike, she scrambled up and down the steep bank many times for cooling dips in the Fox River. I was in a state of mudita -- vicarious joy.
Eeeehh! Sounds very much like our stormwater pond that collects a lot of street runoff and goodness knows what from uphill lawns! Then becomes stagnant during long dry spells.
Izzie would love to jump in regardless of conditions. And once did. 😵💫 That was less than ideal. 😆
