glidin’ and gladdenin'
Plump pirouettes landed and clung, painting the world outside with a fresh coat of white.
“Close the window.” Nia pulled a blanket over her shoulders. “Please?”
Thalia stuck out her tongue (to catch a few falling flakes 😉) before turning the casement crank and plugging in the space heater. “Aaaaaaaaas, you wish!”
“Isn’t it pretty?” Calliope’s eyes sparkled. “We have the best of both worlds — a warm studio AND snow pants and parkas for play outside later this afternoon.”
Can you admire the world… as it admires you?
Nothing on earth is more gladdening than knowing we must roll up our sleeves and move back the boundaries of the humanly possible once more.
