I was so hoping for a follow up to yesterday’s washer installation. Except perhaps for Nia’s baggy eyes, I’d call the whole affair fabulous! Besides, that’s why women have a supply of make up.
“Rocket Man.” A definite blast from the past. Any chance you wire tapped my sentimental jukebox??
I’m chagrined to say I just realized your art today derived from a slice of last night’s pizza.🤦🏽🤷🏼♂️ I saw the shapes that resembled thin slices of mushrooms. Then, too, they also resembled the aftermath of the Andromeda Galaxy blasting through our Milky Way, creating a huge release of energy and forming a new galaxy for good measure. But don’t worry, that isn’t likely to occur for billions of years from now. (From Samantha Clark’s fascinating book The Clearing)
And the small leaves? Basil? And fresh mozzarella? Somehow that doesn’t square up with my sense of Nathaniel’s tastes. Then again...
A “moderation misstep?” Cal is getting funnier by the day.
I like Diane Sawyer’s comment. Dovetails nicely with be here now and practicing presence.
I had to go and watch a video with lyrics displayed to make sure Rocket Man was a good fit for today’s conversation. Then the words playing in my head are different than what the singer sings. 😂
Without too much pizza snobbery talk… I’ll just say last night’s pizza didn’t really look like that. If it had, I probably would have felt better.
A note from LoveLetterist:
For almost two weeks
meals, ingredients, and prep
went off like clockwork.
Was it the excitement of a new washing machine? (It's the bomb!)
Or, the fact that there was finally a break in constant cloud cover?
Dunno. 🤷🏻♀️
But last night take-out pizza was on the table and my self-control was nowhere to be found.
Sometimes
we
have
to
feel
a
bump
to
remember
how
awesome
staying
on
track
feels?

Here at 3mm we do not conceal our flaws. Often… we call attention to them. 😁

I forget what I wanted to say next. 🤭

Singing Rocket Man- thanks Gary!
How much would you charge for that painting if I wanted to buy it?
That is an excellent question!
I have no idea.
It was on a postcard… which I mailed today.
Thank you for telling me how much you liked it.
