“Daddy— She has rainbow hair!” Thalia’s voice carried the wonder of the child who’d said as much yesterday while Typist signed in at the cancer clinic’s kiosk. Typist’s back was toward the child, scarf trailing between her shoulder blades. “And Typist laughed out loud,” Cal said. “If only for a moment, our bald cancer patient was fascinating and beautiful to someone whose perspective was as fresh as the morning dew.”
“Tired of swimming against the current, my friend? Turn your feet downstream and float.” As one who believed swimming upstream was the only way, I’m overjoyed to learn it isn’t!! Thanks for turning me toward a better way. And reminding me from time to time.
Wonderful post today. Rainbow hair indeed! What if when your hair grows back out it was?! CURE!

Fascinating! Beautiful! Bold! Fresh! Inspiring!
Each day I awaken, I experience a profound sense of gratitude. Every post I read from Typist instills in me the essence of remembering the childhood, childlike wonder that surrounded me… What’s interesting, is that the wonder never changed, I did… The wonder is still there, waiting, as evidenced by the perspective of the child who was clearly experiencing “rainbow hair.” 😊🌈 💇🏻♀️
“Why can’t I open this door, asked the exasperated guy? I keep pulling with all my might.” “Oh my!“ replied the kind lady. “Just push on the door and walk thru.”
A variation on the theme. When I catch myself pulling, not always quickly, I advise myself, “Why not stop pulling? Ease into the day!” I break fewer door handles now. 🙃

Glorious scarf! Oh, to see through the eyes of childlike wonder. Rainbow hair is terrific. For the record Cal, Typist is beautiful and fascinating.
Wouldn’t it be incredible for clear scans next week? I am crossing fingers and toes that you knocked C out in round 1. That would be EPIC.
Sending you a day full of unicorns, rainbows, and childlike wonder. 🦄 🌈 👶
Button: “I don’t have gray hair, I have wisdom highlights.” 😁
Or rainbow highlights? In some cases?
