“I couldn’t fit all of Helen’s quote in the space allotted by the meme app.” Calliope shrugged. “That’s okay.” Nia helped Typist scratch an itch through her silk scarf while making a mental note that the red flower pattern clashed with their scribe’s hot pink, DOG MOM sweatshirt. The Muse of Determination’s eyes twinkled at the thought.
I envision fluffy clouds drifting away and leaving in a steady stream leaving only health and wellness (and rainbows) where they once were.
As for the red and pink: Emily left for school (Todd dressed her) in a navy top and navy, black, white leggings with tie-dyed high tops and pink necklace and pink ponies. I mentioned the clash (I understand Nia's distress) and Todd said, "It is all about contrast. Contrast is good."
You have become A Fighter and a good one. You and your amazing team have reduced C. to a fraction of what it used to be, and soon you will defeat completely. Go TEAM TYPIST!!
Reading your blog today and all of the comments... Joy is the word of the day.
On the clothing color combinations - love it! Contrast, oh Billie that’s a blog in itself. Okay I am going to out myself on some nasty thing I used to do to our middle brother. My brother Andrew is 2 1/2 years younger than me. He is also color blind. As a child I didn’t much care for him. I was an only child till he came around. And I loved that status! So, every once and a while my mother would be busy with the baby- my youngest brother and ask me to get Andrew dressed for the bus stop. Oh, she didn’t have to ask me twice. Red, green, stripes, 2 different colored socks... anything to make him look foolish for the day. Ah, contrast.
Slow and steady wins the race. Rushing through treatment isn't a good thing. You want to make sure you really have stomped that awful "C" word way down into the ground and covered it up with sooo much cement it will be afraid and unable to show it's face again. I have faith in your doctors. Treatments today are so much different than they were 25 years ago.
Frame of Mind
Wow, Gail! Fabu on the C front. Just the mention of pancakes is enough to make me want a bite, or two.
If I could share my red/green color deficiency with you, the clashes of reds and pinks would no longer matter so much. 🤔
So, here’s to strong blood, light hearts, drawing dogs, and being. In this moment. Methinks it’s a good one. 😁 CURE!
