I didn’t know until recently that we had milkweed in the desert... My fascination, curiosity, and wonder are however at an all time high and on a recent foraging quest, I gathered pods. Returning home, I errantly left them sitting atop the washer in the garage. I discovered their explosive nature as the entire top of the washer was covered in puffy, white fuzzy, seed carriers elegantly designed to capture the wind and release their cargo and perpetuate the propagation process!!!
I gathered everything up and made a little shadow display box to capture the wonder of nature.
I also captured the wonder of each imbedded link Typist placed in this love letter!
