A note from LoveLetterist:

Yesterday I reclined in a red-leather seat and...

was magically transported to a land of imagination.

Here's hoping that today -- you find a little magic, too.

🤔 I believe the magic in the red leather seat transformed you into a Wonkette! My search for Astrid Lindgrin revealed a person with amazing talent and great longevity. I suppose attaining lots of years itself may not be considered “talent.” Yet to do so often draws on our engagement with others, with life. Focusing on joy and adventure. Imagination.

A review of her book, Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter, indicates Ronia was “happy, cheerful, and energetic.” R spent her days in the woods playing with the animals. Even Astrid’s characters embody her own lifestyle. 👍🏽

Better a Wonkette than an Oompah Loompah? Who wants to be orange with green hair? 😂

I do hope somebody continues the story between where yesterday's film ended and where the 1971 film begins. I read there are 25 years between the two.

Time is a funny concept!

I failed to look Astrid up this morning. I'll take a peek into the rabbit hole with my own cottontail.

Does Henny carry the Rabbit with a soft mouth? I had to contemplate “Faceted” for a wee bit, then I realized the truth in the title. “The beautiful, faceted gemstones are beautifully crafted and highly noticeable.”

To title of today’s LoveLetter is not in the least boastful. IMHO. Just as today’s forest is masterfully rendered, all the years of Three Muses Merge have allowed your talents to shine. With the dedication you bring to the table (the one in the study🤔), developing skills in art, succinct expression of thoughts, teamwork (editors, proofreaders, cheerleaders), and recognizing your talents while firmly embracing each one constitutes a jewel if ever I saw one!

The gingerbread bars! They seem phenomenal if for no other reason than the traditional Holiday spices and the ease of making them! Bet you can’t eat just one, Tal. 😊

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Astrid = Pippi Longstocking!

Soft mouth... Kinda? She likes to play tug of war with it.

We here at 3mm are feeling much excitement for the possibilities in 2024. There's collaboration in the Mind of Curiosity on Clubhouse... and a podcast (for writers) collaboration in the works with our friend and fellow author Jay Armstrong. (Thalia needs people time to balance out the quiet hours of walking, writing, and art-ing.)

I did indeed bake the bars yesterday. They are simple and delicious!

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

Presence and joy!
