“So muuuuu-ch fab-u-lahhhhs-i-teee in our week of Cs!” Thalia savors a sip of piping hot brew. “Fasting wasn’t sooo bad, was it? And — there’s such satisfaction in conquering what at first glance appears insurmountable?”

“Indeed.” Nia nibbles a Nutella infused croissant — a thoughtful, post-procedure gift from yesterday’s transportation concierge.

“Our body is healthy…” Cal stretches her arms above her head. “We shared a lovely conversation with a caregiver about dairy farms and cow personalities… and then followed directions to take a day of R&R.”

“And here we are on the waaaake-up list —” Thalia twirls. “— facing the sun!”

Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it.
