”Are you spying on my flying,” Thalia asked Nia. “I can give you lessons… in exchange for your desserts this week.”
“I was stargazing,” Urania replied. “I like my feet on the ground and dessert on my plate.”
“All kinds of kinds,” Tal replied. “I’m one-hundred percent in agreement regarding sweet treats!”
Calliope enjoyed her flower seat. “Which do you like better? Today’s scanned image? Or the cropped photograph below?”
Words from Typist:
The big idea I hinted about a few days ago is still sticking to me like a burr on fleece.
The project is a mixed-media (photos, visual art, prose) book about dancing with “c”.
I’m clear on my why… still working on the how and what of things.
I once read that if you see something you want to buy while shopping — touch it, try it on, hold it, then set it back down and walk away. If whatever it is lingers in your thoughts for a few days… go back and buy it.
I’ve found the walk away method quells many an impulse-buy… or creative endeavor. In Big Magic, Elizabeth Gilbert proposes that ideas show up and hang around for a while. If you choose not to engage with them, or linger too long without any doing, they escape to a more receptive being.
Indeed the Universe rewards action!
I clearly see that the scanned puffy flowers are blurry in the first image and the colors are dull. The photograph is better, but has a darker background. Possibly remedied with some photo editing?
There are many things you can do by mixing the media that delights you!
