You raise a memory of my first volunteer activity in a kindergarten classroom. It was only an hour, but I left as limp as a dishcloth. My “adult” self didn’t know how to work with all of that delicious energy.
I went on to take a job there and learned SO MUCH in that space. ❤️
The roads are ice free and I can walk in my sneakers! Henny and ai will get out (again). I also see a trip to the library and Hobby Lobby.😁
You know I read and ponder and ask questions. From my perspective attaining results from all your efforts won’t disrupt your processes. You have made diligent and determined progress. You don’t hesitate to reflect on your ideas and goals.
I’m sure you know the expression, “A wise man changes his mind. A fool, never.” Your journey becomes more interesting to me with each new effort you make. 🤗
Several times this week I read different pieces from which I took a similar message: So long as we build our next step with learn and growth, standing in that level feels natural.
We build AND climb our ladders?
I can look back to the frightened little mouse who wrote and published her first piece in the 100 Naked Words. It is hard to recall why she was so timid.
LOL! The image is great, and soooooo not appropriate! I’m thinking of something for her 70th birthday in March. Simple wooden plaque, probably laser engraved. Problem after 30 minutes of searching is that there so many options out there for custom plaques!
The topic of age and its implications can be explored in many ways. We hear of people with “old souls.” Can young people have old souls and not seem immature? How about old people with worn down souls of the usual variety? Or old folks who started life with old souls that still manifest added wisdom? Energy? Can a regularly souled person develop, or acquire, an old soul??
If certain Muses insist on seeing this art as drawn by an old person, may I suggest showing them Edvard Munch’s “The Scream!” He drew that when he was only 30!
I like that your chosen placement of the yellow and purplish spheres (mine eyes have seen the fading of perception of the red...) resulted in different results. Yes, casting a shadow on a black background has its challenges. On your canvas, with light originating from different directions, I thought about planets. 🤷🏽 There’s no accounting for advanced vision. 😉
My box of image adornments is nearly full. In addition to spheres, I have bees and keys, miniature playing cards and lady bugs, paper straws and popsicle sticks.
Whee!
I too liked the shadows cast by the little Pom-poms. Thanks for noticing!
Thank you Cindy! It was tremendous fun to write it. 😁
Last night I was kitchen dancing to some great tunes streaming through my AirPods.
Unbeknownst to me, my young adult son came home and caught me. 😂 Instead of stopping, I kept going. If children learn what they live, I hope he had a short lesson in living life. ❤️
A note from LoveLetterist:
Winter
pulls
moisture
from my skin
like a towel
takes care of a spill.
Age spots
demand
real estate
on
my face
and
hands.
So be it.
Years
have guided us
to our
spirit within
and
we can
now be
bold
and
audacious.
You're beautiful Gail inside and out! Thank you for this fun post this morning. It made me laugh...What are you up to today?
Me...I'm going to hang out with some 3 year olds! I can't wait.
Oh! Enjoy!

I'm so happy it brought up a great memory for you! :)
Enjoy the fun walks. It is the same here and all the snow is melting. BOO...but it will come again.
Have fun at the library and Hobby Lobby.
That you are, in such delightful ways.
It was over a decade ago that I first read Rolf Gates thought:
In our culture, results get all of the attention and the process is overlooked.
I can say that there have been times between now and then where I have failed to appreciate the process -- wanting the results.
Now -- what I want is the process and wonder what challenges results might bring to disrupt my processes.
Humans are hysterical! 🤣

What is this crazy old man up to today? Thanks!
My pleasure! 😁
If I ever find that Unknown quote on a plaque, I'm buying it for Deb.
OTOH, life is short, and Google reaches far... 😉
Here’s a link to where I found it. They aren’t selling a plaque, but the image with the quote is great!

I haven’t any answers for your soul questions. 🤔
